BPMItaly aims at grouping the Italian community working on Business Process Management (BPM)-related topics and at promoting scientific activities and collaborations among research groups, associations, institutions, industrial players and any kind of stakeholders, with a special focus on the Italian ecosystem. The BPMItaly Community has also decided to focus on:
the organizatiopn of an annual event with a conference-style system open to contributions coming from Italy and abroad (see Events below);
the mapping of the ongoing Italian teaching activities and research lines relevant for BPM;
the creation of a repository of models and logs coming from the territory and to be opened to the entire community;
the investigation and promotion of a strong engagement with the industry and the public administration.
Joining the BPMItaly Community is free-of-charge and based solely on academic merits. Participations of the members of nodes at the yearly events is strongly recommended.
Iniziative ed Eventi
On 13 September 2019, the Italian community working on Business Process Management (BPM) -related topics gathered “under the same roof” for the first time at the University of Bologna. In that meeting it was decided to found the BPMItaly Community by inviting those groups that historically have worked on BPM in the last years. In 2023 it was decided to configure the BPMItaly Community as a working group of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence.
