Working Groups
The association promotes the establishment of thematic working groups whose activities revolve around various topics of artificial intelligence through the participation in scientific events and/or targeted initiatives.
The working groups can be focused on a scientific topic, for example a sub-area of artificial intelligence such as knowledge representation, machine learning, or robotics, just to name a few. Groups can also be focused on application areas and societal challenges where AI techniques can have an impact. Examples are the problem of aging societies or the support to cultural heritage.
Anyone interested in setting up a working group within AIxIA can contact the Secretary of the association at segretario@aixia.it..
The groups coordinators are in charge of synchronising the group’s activities and maintaining the connection with AIxIA; each group must set up a web page describing its objectives and activities. Moreover, the composition of the working groups must represent, in a significant way, the Italian scientific AI community that works on the group’s topic.
The table below lists the current AIxIA working groups (in alphabetical order), together with their coordinators and web sites (in lexicographic order).
